Cathy Galloway

November 11, 1957 — August 17, 2022

Brevard

Cathy “Cat” Louise Landreth Galloway went to be with her Lord and savior after a hard-fought
battle with MS for over 20 years. From Brevard, she was 64. She was one of five children to
Gertha Hughlee Landreth and Hannah Mattie Lance Landreth, who she adored dearly.
She is survived by her loving husband and caregiver, Danny Kaye Galloway, daughter Daphne
Camille Neal, son-in-love Robbie Neal, son Lance Manning Galloway, daughter-in-love Rachel
Wolfe Mingle Galloway, and five grandchildren: Molly Neal, William Clayton Manning Galloway,
Mila Noelle Galloway, Jonah Ammon Galloway, and Levi Holden Galloway.
She is also survived by her three sisters: Brenda Riddle (Lionel), Carolyn Galloway (Gary), and
Deborah “Easter” Cope (Jim), and brother David Landreth (Sharon), and several nieces and
nephews.
Cathy loved her family and loved to read and write poetry. She was passionate about butterflies,
flowers, and feeding her creatures. She bravely fought her disease until the end and deeply
loved Danny.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Dunn’s Rock Baptist Church on Wednesday, August
24 at 11:00 am. Food and Fellowship from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Dunn’s Rock Community
Center after the service. A small creek side service for immediate family will occur at Cathy and
Danny’s home at 3:00 pm. She loved her creek!
