Amy Christine Dixon Hyatt

Amy Christine Dixon Hyatt, 57, of Fletcher, NC, passed on January 13, 2024, at Mission Hospital of Asheville.

 She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Art Dixon. Amy was preceded in death by her husband John Hyatt.

 Her favorite pastime was spending time with her children and grandbabies. She enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking, and escaping to the beach any chance she got.

 Amy is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Hyatt (Ryan Gonce), son, John (Spencer) Hyatt (Kayla Burton) and grandson on the way, and son, Marshall Hyatt (Madison Bared) and two grandsons, Jaxson and Kasen. Amy is also survived by sister Theressa Coren (Sonny) of Arden, NC, brother Gene Dixon (Sharon) of Candler, NC, sister Pamela Staton (Phil) of Randleman, NC and a large family of five generations of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins, as well as many friends, all who loved her dearly.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday February 10, 2024, at Fanning Chapel, 5490 Old Haywood Rd, Mills River, NC 28759. Visitation and sharing Amy’s life stories will follow in the adjacent fellowship hall. The church and fellowship hall will open at 1:30 PM. The care of Mrs. Hyatt has been entrusted in A Simple Cremation.
