Clark Webb (102) of Asheville, NC formerly of Morehead City, NC and Raleigh, NC. Retired manager of Overnite Transportation Company in Raleigh/Durham, NC. He served in the Pacific theater with the 503rd Parachute Regiment during World War II. He was a member of the William G. Hill Masonic Lodge since 1948 and Sudan Shrine Temple in Raleigh, NC. Also, he joined the NC State Wolfpack Club in 1956 and he was a former Director of the Boys & Girls Club of Raleigh. For many years he was an active member of the East NC Traffic Club, the Raleigh Jaycees, Lions Club, Kiwanis Club, and Elks Club.
He was preceded in death by two wives; Genevieve Prescott Webb and Josephine Parks Webb. He is survived by two daughters, Jean Larson (Skip) of Clemmons, NC and Joan Cope (Ron) of Asheville, NC, one stepdaughter Judy Buffkin of Conyers, GA and one stepson Jerry Britt (Elaine) of Raleigh, NC. There are also eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Brooks-Howell Home for their love and care of our beloved father. Also, we wish to thank Care Partners Hospice for the extraordinary healthcare, counseling and concern for dad’s well being.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Coastal Carolina at 3321 Bridges Street, Morehead City, NC 28557.
