Daniel Merzlak

On March 30th 2019 Daniel John Merzlak passed away from natural causes in the comfort of his home and in the presence of his family and friends at the age of 65 years. Dan was a veteran of the US army airborne division & had worked as a skilled electrician in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors during his professional career. He is the eldest son of Patricia & Donald Merzlak and is survived by his three children Joseph Merzlak, Megeara McHarge & William Merzlak and four grandchildren, Fox & Margot Merzlak, Jude & Wyatt McHarge. Dan was a very independent and private individual and was governed by a strong personal moral code. He loved his family, reading, woodworking, and his confederate gray ’64 Chevy pick-up named ‘Candace’. Dan was always willing to help those who needed it and never backed down from a difficult task or situation. He will be missed greatly by all those who knew and loved him. His legacy is the strength, wisdom, and patience that he passed to his children, and through them his grandchildren.

Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on, and cherished memories never fade because a loved one's gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there is memory, they'll live on in the heart.
