Danny Johnson

Danny Lee Johnson, age 65, passed away on October 3, 2019 at Carolina Pines in Asheville, NC. Danny was born on May 14, 1954 in Cherokee County, NC. He moved from Ohio to Franklin in May of this year. Danny was a very proud Marine. He worked with outdoor amusements for many years. Last employed by Penske Trucking in Ohio.

He is preceded in death by his wife Judith Johnson; parents, Ralph & Pearl Johnson; Sister, Hazel Brown; Brothers, Charlie, R.J., and Roy Johnson; Nephews, Jeff and Jimmy; and Nieces Patricia and April.

Danny is survived by his sister, Helen Johnson of Akron OH;  3 brothers and sisters-in-law, Cecil & Teresa Johnson of Franklin, NC, Kenny & Sylvia Johnson of Norton, OH, and Harvey & Helen Johnson of Jasper, GA; Nephews and Nieces, Ken, Daphne, Erin, Tracye, Adam, Brian, Blake, Keith, Kristy, Bradley, Debbie, Kathleen, Diane, Blaine, R.J., Ronnie; many great nephews, nieces and cousins.

A celebration of Danny's life will be held on November 15, 2019 at Town of Franklin Memorial Park, 488 W Main Street, Franklin NC with Rev. Bobby Webb from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
