Diane Woodward

Diane Reid Woodward, 76, of Zirconia NC, left us on New Year’s Day, 2019, to begin her endless journey. Diane was the witty and loving mother to her three children: Donalee Dolan, Michael Dolan, and Robin Keener; the bright-eyed and amusing mother-in-law of Linda Huguenin, Michele Dolan, and Charles Keener; and the adored and caring "Goosie" to Haley and Drew Keener. Diane enjoyed being the neighborhood mom and could often be found cheering on her children at various sporting events, volunteering at schools and participating in community committees.

Diane was born in LeRoy, NY and raised in Orange, CT. Prior to beginning a family, she attended Rollins College where she met and married Thomas Dolan. She was a well-read world traveler and an accomplished cook who enjoyed hosting any occasion. Above, and beyond all Diane was a staunch supporter of animal and human rights. Her home was rarely in short supply of rescued fur babies. She donated livestock to villages across the globe and never failed to help humanitarian crises at home and abroad.
