Elva Crowder

Elva Buchanan Crowder, 68, loving wife and mother, passed away Wednesday, September 25th 2019. She
was a daughter of the late Harrison and Martha Renfro Buchanan. She was preceded in death by her
husband of 50 years, Elbert Crowder, who passed away in May of this year. She was also preceded in
death by two sisters: Jean Hensley and Jane Hughes. She was a member of Crabtree Chapel Baptist
church.
Elva is survived by her children: Gabe Crowder of Blountville, TN; Elbert Crowder, Jr. and Carol of
Greeneville, TN; and, Mary Jo Renfro and Norman of Burnsvitle, NC.
Seven Grandchildren: Kristopher Crowder(Brianne) of Fort Sill, OK; Jacob Crowder of Unicoi, TN; Cody
and Jonathan Renfro of Burnsville, NC; Erica Crowder of Hurlburt Field AFB,FL; Mary and Samantha
Crowder of Greeneville, TN. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, two sisters, Betty Jo Lipps
and Gertie Anglin, and several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday October 5th at Crabtree Chapel Baptist Church for both Elva
and Eibert. All are welcome.
