Gerald Dyer

Gerald Thomas Dyer, 67, of Asheville N.C. Went to be with the Lord on July 21,2020 surrounded by his family at mission hospital.

Gerald is the son of Herman John Dyer and Ethel Miller.

Gerald is survived by his 3 brothers, Norman Dyer, Ray Dyer, Roger Dyer, and his sister Debra Jones.

His 3 kids, Dewayne Dyer, Jeremy Dyer, and Cathy McFarland. With many grand kids and great grand kids. He was a loving father and a friend to everyone.

Gerald spent most of his life driving a tractor trailer for Fredrickson motor express, and Fed-ex.  He also enjoyed coaching baseball for West Asheville Little League were he coached his sons for many years.

A special thank you to Les and Michelle Dutcher for taking care of him  and giving him a place to live. We love you very much.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday July 25th from 2 to 4 pm at the home of Ronnie and Elmeda Foster  29 Hominy Hill Rd. Candler N.C.
