Joan Ana-Leo

Joan Ana-Leo, age 86, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 3, 2025 at home in Asheville, North Carolina

She was a native resident of Lake Forest, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Leo Richard Kupskey and Anna Kupskey, Anne Jadrich. She was preceded in death by her Brothers Leo C. Kupskey, Sr. and wife Mildred Kupskey, Richard Kupskey Sr. and wife Naomi Kupskey , and Jerry Kupskey, nephew Leo C. Kupskey, Jr., and niece Kim Kupskey.

She is survived by her husband Steven Ehly, daughter Stephanie Hobbs and her husband Comer Hobbs; daughter Andrea E. Rosenblatt and her husband Michael Rosenblatt; niece Kathy Aishton; nephew Richard Kupskey Jr.; her stepdaughter Cristine Ehly and her partner Ross Keating, her stepson Austen Ehly and his best friend Chelsea Greenlee.

No services are scheduled, but the family plans to have a Celebration of Joan’s Life at a later date to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or other cause or charity of choice.
