Linda Burrell

Linda Lanning Burrell, 63, went to her heavenly home on January 19, 2021 at Mountain View Assisted Living after a short illness. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 11 AM at Maple Hill Baptist Church, 186 Holly Springs Road, Etowah, NC 28729. Linda was born on February 22, 1957 in Asheville, North Carolina. She was a devoted Christian, and loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Michael Burrell; a daughter, Christine Martin; and husband Joey; sons Cecil Prater, Tracey Prater, Darryl Prater and wife , Ashley;  grandchildren, Flisha, James Jesse, Shyann, Heather C.J., Hunter Megan, Sarah, Morgan, Darryl II, brother Dennis landing sisters Rosalee Smith, Joan Goings, three great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and close family friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Lesia Prater; a sister, Sandra Lanning; father Ernest Lanning and mother Ethal Lanning. The family would like to extend its greatest gratitude to the staff of Mountain View Assisted Living for caring for Linda in her final weeks.
