Marjorie D'Armi

Marjorie Lucille Saarikoski D’Armi, age 95, Hendersonville, NC (formerly of Annapolis, MD), passed away of natural causes on February 27th, 2019 at Carolina Reserve assisted living center of Laurel Park.

Born February 19th, 1924 in Meadow Brook, MN. to parents, Gustavo Saarikoski and Signa (Lehto) Saarikoski.  Was raised on a farm in Greaney, Minnesota.

Marjorie attended Secretarial School in Washington D.C. She then began working for the Federal Government as a secretary and met her husband Albert DiTizio, (a WWII Veteran, deceased) who also worked for the Federal Government as a tailor.

Together they had five children; Marie DiTizio(deceased), Diane   Hammock, Larry DiTizio, Teresa DiTizio, and Albert DiTizio.

Marjorie is survived by four children, ten grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral Services and interment will be at Fort Lincoln Cemetery in Brentwood, MD. and Celebration of Life will be at Stella Notte in Ellicott City, MD. on March 16th, 2019
