Norma Jo Bell, age 71, of Franklin, NC, passed away on April 24, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on May 6, 1952, she brought immense joy to those around her.
Jo’s journey touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength and resilience. She worked as a Registered Nurse for over 25 years in Florida and North Carolina. She went on to be the co-owner of our family business, Cabin Creek Timber Frames. Jo loved sewing, quilting and dogs, especially her foster dogs. Very few fosters did not become permanent family members. She used these hobbies and passions as much as she could to spend time with family and friends. She treated everyone she met with kindness, compassion, generosity and love.
Jo is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Joseph Bell, beloved sons, Donald (Dana) Booker and John (Jackie) Booker and 4 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024, 11:00am at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 542 St. John’s Road, Franklin, NC, 28734. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Jo to the Macon County Humane Society.
May Jo rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may her memory continue to bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.
