Peggy Cogburn

Peggy Culbertson Cogburn, of Asheville, a lifetime resident of Western North Carolina, died on Wednesday, September 15, at Mission Hospital.

She was born July 14, 1940, in Madison County, the daughter of Harry Culbertson and Elsie Plemmons Culbertson.

She is survived by her husband, Hershel L. Cogburn; daughter and son-in-law, Janice Cogburn Caldwell and Roger Caldwell; son and daughter-in-law, Gordon Ray Cogburn and Debbie Cogburn; five grandsons, Ben, Thad, and Logan Caldwell, and Kyle and Ryan Cogburn; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Harry Culbertson, Jr.
