Ray Kleintop

Ray Kleintop, 82, of Spindale, NC sadly passed Sunday evening, July 3, 2022, in Hospice of Rutherford County.

Ray was the loving husband of Sandra G. (McCarthy) Kleintop.  They would have celebrated their 47th anniversary on July 5th.

Born on December 11, 1939, in Kunkletown, PA, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Irene (Smith) Kleintop.  He has lived in the Rutherford County, NC area for the last 20 years.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Ray loved gardening and cooking.  He was everyone’s favorite neighbor.

Ray is survived by his wife Sandra and his sons, Michael Kleintop of Florida, Buddy Doll and his wife Laura of Easton, MD and Dennis Doll and his wife Terry also of Easton, MD.  Also surviving is his sister Mae Perry of Stroudsburg and many nieces and nephews.

He was the grandfather of Cowen Doll.

Ray was preceded in death by his daughter Cinda Jordan, his brother Alton Kleintop and brother-in-law Robert Perry.
