Sadie Mcknight

Sadie “Peppermint” McKnight, 51, of Asheville NC passed away on November 16th, 2018 at John F. Keever Solace Center. She was born in Jamaica Queens, New York and was the daughter of Linda Pedlar and the late Charles Slade. Her siblings that preceded her were Samuel, Nadeen and David Pedlar.

Left to cherish her memory: Jahni Gilliland (daughter); Linda Pedlar (mother); her surviving siblings Tarmoria, Tawannia, Tarmaria and Charles Pedlar Junior.

She was a loving and unique independent woman, whose greatest belief and passion included feeding those who were hungry. She made a connection with everyone she met and lived proudly and unapologetically. She will forever and always be held in our hearts as the diva she was.
