Sheila Rios

Sheila Ann Rios, 55, Left us on Saturday, February 15, 2020 in Asheville, North Carolina. Sheila was a native of Asheville and the daughter of the late Joseph Rios and Mary Lou Chapman. She attended school at Erwin High School in Asheville and was employed at the Hot Dog King in Asheville, North Carolina for many years.

Sheila was a very loving and kind person and had a beautiful soul. She was loved by all who knew her. Sheila was preceded in death by her daughters, Natasha Rios and Cheyenne Carney; her son, Joseph Ray Fender; her mother, Mary Lou Chapman; her father, Joseph Rios; and her brother, Derrick Thrasher.

Left to cherish her memory are her nephew, Justin Thrasher and his wife, Tina; cousins Linda Martinez, George Martinez, Lucas Martinez, Carmen Ochoa, Jesse Montez, Johnny Montez and Virginia Morris; and many friends and family that will forever cherish her memory.

A memorial service to celebrate Sheila’s life will be held at Church of the Resurrection, located at 116 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville, North Carolina 28903 on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 6:00 p.m.
