Tita Robin Hyde, 58, passed away unexpectedly on September 5th, 2021, at Mission Hospital. She was born March 6, 1963 in East Flat Rock, the daughter of Robert and Edith Darryl Taylor.
Tita graduated from East Henderson High School, Class of 1981. Following graduation, she went on to work at Pardee Hospital, where she met her husband of 36 years, Andrew Hyde. After her work at Pardee, she went on to start her own house cleaning business, along with her best friend of 28 years, Linda Branam.
Tita was a loyal member of VFW Post No. 10349 of Mill Spring, NC. Her countless hours volunteering helped to provide charitable support for many area veteran and nursing home facilities, as well as active duty military service members, wounded service members, and their families. Tita attended Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Her devotion to helping others, and her commitment to her family will never be forgotten.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Madison Womack. In addition to her husband, Andrew Lee Hyde, she is survived by two daughters, Natasha Slater, and her husband Ryan, of Michigan, and Kimberly Hyde; two sons, Robert Hyde and Tyler Hyde; four grandchildren, Ethan Hyde, Mason Childers, Bailey Womack, and Alyssa Womack; a brother, Steve Taylor; and a niece, Serina Bell and her husband Danny Bell.
A Memorial of Remembrance will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 11 at Chapel Hill Missionary Baptist Church, at 9 Chapel Hill Church Rd., Asheville, NC.
